B2X Marketing ("B2X," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit b2x-marketing.com or interact with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
This policy applies to the B2X Marketing website and to information we collect from prospects, clients, newsletter subscribers, and visitors. It does not cover third-party websites we link to.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically, and information from service providers.
1.1 Information you give us
- Contact form submissions. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company (if provided), and the content of your message.
- Diagnostic and scan tool input. When you use our website diagnostic or scan tool, we collect the URL or company information you submit and the results we generate from it.
- Newsletter signups. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and any optional fields you choose to share.
- Direct correspondence. If you email us, schedule a call, or send a message through LinkedIn or another channel, we receive whatever information you choose to include.
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our analytics provider collect:
- IP address (often truncated or anonymized depending on the analytics tool)
- Browser type, operating system, and device type
- Pages viewed, time spent on each page, referring URL, and exit page
- Approximate geographic location derived from IP
- Cookie and similar tracker identifiers (see Section 5)
1.3 Information from service providers
Our hosting and form-processing providers (Cloudflare and our CRM) generate logs and metadata when they process your interactions. We may receive aggregated or summary information from these providers to help us secure and improve the site.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries, proposals, and support requests
- Deliver services to clients we engage with
- Send the newsletter and other communications you subscribed to
- Operate, secure, and improve the website and our diagnostic tools
- Measure marketing performance and understand how visitors use the site
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the content of your contact form messages or scan submissions to train public AI models.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share information only with parties that help us run our business, and only to the extent they need it. Current categories of recipients:
- Hosting and infrastructure: Cloudflare. Hosts the website and processes form submissions through our backend service. Cloudflare may receive your IP address, request headers, and the contents of forms you submit. See Cloudflare's privacy notice at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Contact and lead database: Notion. Stores contact and lead records we collect through forms and direct outreach. May receive your name, email, company, message content, and follow-up notes.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4. Collects usage data described in Section 1.2. Loaded through Google Tag Manager and gated by our cookie consent banner.
- Professional advisors. Lawyers, accountants, and similar advisors when their work requires it.
- Legal recipients. Authorities, courts, or other parties if we are legally required to disclose, or if disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.
- In a business transaction. If B2X is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that deal. We will post notice on the site if this happens.
We do not share your information with advertising networks for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Legal Basis and Reasons for Processing
Under U.S. law we are not required to identify a "legal basis" the way GDPR requires, but for transparency, we process your information because:
- You asked us to (you submitted a form, subscribed, or contacted us)
- It is necessary to deliver the service or response you requested
- We have a legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving our business
- We are legally required to (tax, accounting, fraud prevention)
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and measure performance.
We use three categories:
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to load and for forms to function. These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics. Set by Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to count visitors, measure page performance, and understand site usage. Aggregated where possible.
- Functional. Remember small preferences (such as whether you have closed a banner).
We do not currently use advertising cookies or pixels for retargeting.
We use Google Consent Mode v2. On your first visit you will see a consent banner where you can accept or reject analytics cookies. You can change your choices at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer.
You can also disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site.
6. Data Retention
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as required by law:
- Contact form submissions and email correspondence: up to 36 months from last contact
- Diagnostic and scan tool inputs and results: up to 12 months
- Newsletter subscriber records: until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so we do not email you again
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by tax, accounting, and contract law (typically 7 years)
- Server and analytics logs: per the retention defaults of Cloudflare and Google Analytics 4 (GA4 default user-level retention is 14 months)
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including transport encryption (TLS), access controls on internal systems, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information and the law requires notice, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal information.
8.1 Rights available to all U.S. visitors
You can ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold information about you
- Provide a copy of that information
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete information, subject to legal exceptions
- Stop sending you marketing email (you can also click "unsubscribe" in any newsletter)
To make a request, email privacy@b2x-marketing.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on the request.
8.2 Additional rights for California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the rights above plus:
- Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we share it with
- Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information
- Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of today. If that ever changes, we will post a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on the site.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those allowed by default under the CCPA.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality service because you exercised a CCPA right.
- Authorized agent. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of authorization and will verify your identity directly.
